The course will demonstrate various pediatric dental techniques that go beyond the classical techniques familiar to the practitioner. Topics will include use of resin modified glass ionomers for posterior restorations; indirect pulpal therapy technique using resin modified calcium silicate liners; and two techniques of anterior restorations (strip crowns and zirconia crowns). All techniques require proper treatment planning to ensure appropriateness of use.

Paul K Chu, DDS, is a Board Certified pediatric dentist who is currently the Program Director of the St. Barnabas Hospital Pediatric Dental Residency. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of The Pacific (San Francisco, CA); he completed his certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry from Columbia University (New York, NY); and completed his post graduate residency in Pediatric Dentistry at St. Barnabas Hospital (Bronx, NY). He is also an assistant attending at both Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and Jacobi Hospital. Dr. Chu is also in private practice in Rye, NY.
